Discussion Starter · #1 · Jan 6, 2016 Has anyone ever had one of their wiper linkage bushings go bad for their wrangler JK? The linkage bushing that holds the arm for the passenger side blade that connects at the motor broke and now I have no passenger side wiper. Luckily the driver side works fine which is the important part, but still annoying the passenger side fails. I went to
Autozone and bought a variety pack of bushings that was good for 1978-2007 chrysler/jeep products and sure enough, I have a 2008 and no bushings in there work. I figured 2007-2008 wiper linkage arms would be the same but maybe their not. I called the dealership and unfortunately they do not sell just the bushings alone which would be like a $2-3 part. All they sell and can offer is the full linkage kit which is $209, um no thanks. So my question to you is do you know of any generic
bushings on ebay, amazon or another supplier online that might have some bushings that fit the jk linkage? I've seen a few other people online say they were able to find some bushings that worked but nobody ever listed a part number or what the compatible bushing was. Any help is appreciated. I never looked at how it is made, but if it is like every other Chrysler / Dodge, it is just a small plastic piece commonly available at retail auto parts stores for a couple of dollars. While I was in college, I used to work at O'Reilly's and sold plenty nth of those things. That was way before JK's were even thought of though. Joined Nov 28, 2011 · 305 Posts

though. I bought a variety pack from autozone and it said it was good for jeep/chrysler from 78-2007 and unfortunately none of them worked thats why i'm hoping someone else knows a different place that might carry them. I'm going to try NAPA tomorrow and cross my fingers. Joined May 24, 2009 · 141 Posts

Same Boat I'm in the same boat. I've looked everywhere, the bushings alone aren't sold, the linkage with bushings isn't sold, only the entire wiper motor is sold. I read somewhere that someone was able to sculpt one of the generic bushings to fit, but I tried all of them and couldn't get it. If anyone has any help, it would be
greatly appreciated. Or id someone has a 3D printer and wants to bang these out for $5 a pop, I'm sure there would be people buying them. Joined May 31, 2011 · 8,070 Posts
