Fit my 2016 CX-5 perfectly. I still can't figure out where the original cap went.........

Reviewed in the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ on June 23, 2020

After lifting the hood to top-off my washer fluid, I found the cap to the washer fluid reservoir just gone. Not stuck on something within the engine, just gone. I ordered two of these to have one to replace the runaway and one as a backup should this happen again. Seller was very prompt and courteous and that is greatly appreciated -- very happy I was able to find these. So, if you own a 2015 Mazda CX-5 this will fit your washer fluid reservoir.
Thank you so much for taking added stress away! p.s.: if anyone sees a weird little stemmed washer fluid cap running around please let me know. I'm not mad, just concerned.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesnโ€™t snap shut

Bought for 2016 Mazda 3. Fits over the opening but does not twist or snap into place whatsoever. Had to tape it down with duct tape. I guess itโ€™s better than a burnt out fluid pump due to dirt etc but would not buy again and definitely not worth $30

Can you replace windshield washer tank?

While it's a different procedure on every vehicle, replacing the windshield washer reservoir lends itself to DIY-ers and newbies, but only those with a lot of patience that see it as a labor of love, so to speak. If you're easily frustrated, you'll need to learn patience to replace some windshield washers.

How much does it cost to replace a windshield wiper fluid reservoir?

The Best in Auto Repair The average cost for windshield washer fluid reservoir replacement is between $194 and $226. Labor costs are estimated between $91 and $115 while parts are priced between $104 and $111. This range does not include taxes and fees, and does not factor in your specific vehicle or unique location.

Why is my wiper fluid reservoir leaking?

When the temperatures get below freezing, the water inside the reservoir will freeze, causing the plastic to harden and crack once it thaws. This will cause fluid to leak from the washer reservoir until it is empty.
