Color-Shape perfect, short 1/4 inch wide

Posted by Terry Ritchie on 7th Apr 2021

The left glass panel for my 2012 Tacoma had the correct tint & the shape was fine. I removed all the broken glass. I try fitted the glass & it was. 1/4 inch short of making it to the bar of the sliding glass bar. I filled the gap with a metal strip and urethaned it all together..

    Back left-side window glass

Posted by Jared Carbone on 20th Jul 2020

Brad's Autoglass supplied the replacement glass that I needed in an easy and quick process. The glass was shipped to me quickly and in 1 piece and the price was very reasonable considering the quotes that I received to replace the rear left-side window in my 2007 Toyota Tacoma were over $500. The Toyota Dealership as well as other busineses do not give the customer the option of just replacing the side of the rear window that is broken or cracked. Instead they want you to replace the entire rear glass window, which makes the overall cost considerably more expensive. (In my case over $500) From what I was able to find Brad's Autoglass was the only business that even gave the customer the option of replacing a single specific side of the rear window. I was able to replace the rear left-side window after watching the instructional YouTube video, made by Brad himself, showing the customer step by step how to make the repairs. The only other materials I needed and had to buy besides the glass was a tube of Autoglass Adhesive Urethane, which I was able to find at my local Auto parts store. I would definitely recommend Brad's Autoglass business to my friends and colleagues and use this business again myself in the future if need be! Thanks

Working great and easy to install. The urethane can get a little messy if you're not careful.

2005-2015 TOYOTA TACOMA SLIDING REAR WINDOW BACK GLASS REPAIR PANEL LEFT PATCH

Posted by bob on 14th Jan 2020

Patch panel was designed and instructions are to glue to the old broken glass perimeter. That is definitely the easiest and fastest, but leaves the new glass sticking out the frame the depth of the glass. I was not in a hurry and opted to remove the broken glass from the frame, enough that the patch panel would set in the frame as the original glass did. Urethaned it to the frame. After that, here was a small gap around the perimeter that i filled with black silicone, much more user friendly than urethane. Very happy with results.
