Lucky Streak has a thick, white head, a clear straw appearance, with bubbles, and minimal lacing. The aroma is of faint cereal grains. The flavor is of white bread, rice, a touch of green apple and sourness, and no bitterness. Lucky Streak has a light body and a crisp finish.

12oz can - review from notes

This is just unimpressive. I don't rag on beers like this usually, but this one sorta angered me, just why?! Haha. I mean it's your typical AAL cornbrew. I'd rather go to Trader Joes and save a few bucks buying their overcooked corn/grain alc swill. Cheaper and tastes better, too

Boring

Anheuser-Busch "Lucky Streak"
12 fl. oz. can coded "19JAN22 CD1129". Sampled on 15AUG21.
$13.99/30-pack @ Javie's Beverages, Philadelphia, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: Firstly I have to say that I'm surprised that Anheuser-Busch has associated its name so clearly with this low-budget beer. I've already sampled a few so I know that it's not great. It's right there for the price point, and I can't say it's any better than Gennesee Cream Ale or Lionshead. There are some that it beats, but that's not really saying much. Let's get to it. It looks good in the glass with a clear straw gold body but the head retention and lacing are limited. That's to be expected. What I wasn't expecting is the intensity of the sulphur coming from the lager yeast. Maybe I'm just more sensitive to it than other people but I find it quite clear and bright. Beyond that it has the usual, sweetish adjunct lager aroma. Normally I can also find a smear of hops in the aroma, just a touch, but that's not the case here. On to the flavor then. It's much better than the aroma might lead you to believe as there's no sulphur, but the malt is quite dull. It's sweetish, and just mildly bready, but rather bland. I guess maybe that's a good thing for the people that will probably be drinking this, but viewing it as a lager on the world stage it's definitely not going to score well. Fortunately there is just a touch of hop flavor to it, especially given that they've got a drawing of some nice hop cones on the label. The bitterness is almost non-existent, but it remains 'balanced' for what it is. Thankfully it has that going for it as compared to the economy beers that are just a little too sweet and eventually cloying. It's medium-light and clocks in at a reasonable 4.2% ABV. That, at least, is something that it has going for it. If you're headed out on a chartered fishing boat, or going to spend a day somewhere where you just drink beer all day this could be the one for you. I'd personally prefer a more flavorful and balanced English ale at 3.8% or so, but that doesn't exist here in the U.S. so you don't have many options. But what about session IPAs? Well I'd find it hard to argue against Founder's All Day IPA except that it is 4.7% ABV, and costs a whole hell of a lot more. I'd certainly want to bring a few of those with me but for ther bulk of my consumption it'd probably be something like this, which is, I hate to say it, a beer that doesn't really matter.

Ok this is going to be strange for me. I’m a huge porter, stout, lager drinker like expensive lagers, but I grew up on Busch light because of my dad and all of his friends when we went camping. Now I can honestly say this and that is my review is coming from a perspective of that kind of beer drinker. Personally this beer is in between Busch and Busch light. It reminds of my younger days and I kinda actually enjoy it and it’s very cheap too

While not specifically stated, this beer struck me as a "light" beer, much like Miller Light, Bud Light etc.
Pours light gold in color, some fizziness as in a soda, very light corn nose and the head dissapates rather quickly.

Overall, nothing to attract a retry, at least not for a real beer drinker.

Ehhh... I bought a 30 pack because the price point beckoned to me. It’s nothing special but it’s an excellent value.

I love it when the person who adds a beer also reviews it. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some light grains. Taste is very mild, some grains, hints of corn. Feels light bodied in the mouth and overall, nothing offensive, there's just not much to this beer at all.
