3.0 out of 5 stars Sweet case but… Super sweet case but, it doesn’t correctly fit the phone and it’s in carbon fiber when I ordered blue… I’m not sure how many phones this case will fit but, the 13 pro max is not one of them.. I also wanted one that had a portion on the back recessed so I could try out my idea to fit the ESR Universal Kickstand into the case. I did this with the iPhone 11 Pro Max and UAG Monarch case and it went well. That case held up amazingly so when I upgraded to the 13 I wanted to get the same case again. The carbon fiber and leather look great but I decided to try something new and go with the kevlar (even though it's ridiculously expensive.) This case actually makes the 13 feel little smaller than the 11 did in that case. The case for the 13 feels to be a bit slimmer, yet has a better feel and grip to it, the buttons are a lot easier to press, and this design is slightly better looking. The phone still works with my wireless charger and the kevlar insert adds a bit of grip if you're fingertips are on it. Best of all this design was able to accommodate my ESR kickstand mod like the old case. I used a rotary tool to remove the plastic to fit the kickstand in, used a lighter to stop any of the loose threads of the Kevlar from fraying, filed off any rough edges, and stuck the kickstand on (which actually holds pretty good to the kevlar, but could probably be glued on if needed.) I'm happy with how it came out and I prefer the look and feel of this case compared to the older design for the 11. Definitely sticking with UAG for future cases! 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case, Even Better With Kickstand Mod After using the leather Apple cases for years I decided to upgrade to a more durable and grip-able case. Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2022 I’ve been using UAG for the last four years on my iPhone X Max. Then upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro Max and went with this case. Great coverage around the phone! Initially the wireless charging would not work on my Nomad Apple Edition wireless charger. Took a chance and ordered the newer model of the Apple Watch Edition from Nomad and the charging coils are larger and it worked!! So this case is definitely compatible with the newer generation of wireless chargers that have larger charging coils. So happy with this case. Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2022 Saved my phone from multiple drops. Adds some bulk to the phone but I like how it feels in the hand and you are less likely to drop it in the first place. Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2022 Not my first UAG case, but I guess this is the first one that is painted. Paint is chipping away after two months of use, but otherwise still looks good and functions as a phone case. Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2022 Overall I love the UAG Monarch series, to the point I replaced my Otterbox with UAG Monarch Carbon Fiber. What I am displeased with is that someone between UAG and Amazon Warehouse chose to replace their phone case with the one that I was suppose to receive. The UAG Monarch Kevlar. I've contacted UAG through Amazon and directly at UAG in regards to this situation. I can only hope this is not one that happens often enough. The reason I purchased this through Amazon was for the two day shipping. As the case would arrive the same day my phone was to activate. The good: I love the backing of the Monarch series. Fits well for my hands. The raised area on the back makes it easier to hold and balance with one hand. I am also looking forward to attaching the UAG Lanyard to my case due to if the phone ever comes out of my hands. None the less, I am loving the Monarch case by UAG over the Otterbox series. Truly nice! The replacement case for the proper case should be here within 2 days of the original receiving date. Quite quick to replace. Had this been in stores, I would have purchased it within a retail box store instead. 4.0 out of 5 stars Good company, fanstastic Series. Buyer beware. When I got my 13 pro plus T Mobile only had Otter cases. Only lasted 8 months. So I’m back to UAG Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2022 Good protection, usual UAG quality. (Which is great) The price is just a little too high in my opinion. Also the few times I have tried to use a wireless charger the connection is very spotty and doesn't want to cooperate. Other than that the case is perfect. Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2022 Only had this for about a week but and haven’t dropped my phone yet. (Knock on wood) but it seems sturdy. Not too bulky and has a solid design. Would recommend. Top reviews from other countries2.0 out of 5 stars Not even close to a £40+ case, this is purely a fashion case - but even then it looks cheap. I am not sure how protective is the case for the back cameras. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great phone protection & comfort in-hand Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 28, 2021 Brilliant drop protection for your device, durable case, and also no rough edges when held in the hand, which improves ergonomics and long-term comfort when watching videos or playing games for example. 5.0 out of 5 stars UAG Case Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 4, 2022 Only Case I buy for my IPhone’s, get protection for phone. Very rugged & looks good as well Is UAG better than OtterBox?UAG Plyo cases have a slightly rugged finish, whereas the Otterbox Symmetry cases have a smoother finish. UAG Plyo has a plastic finish, whereas Otterbox Symmetry has a rubber outline. UAG Plyo is available in 5 color options, whereas Otterbox Symmetry comes in over 10 different color and style options.
Are UAG cases worth it?We've mentioned it already, but UAG cases tend to fall on the expensive side. You're probably looking at between $30 and $80 for most options, but the protection is well worth the money.
