Every page I read just had me stuck and wanting to see what happens next, and the wording and drawings are great they automatically just pop up in your mind and you can just see the story taking place, best Manga so far this year for me

Things are off to a good start, at least it seems. However, I see storm clouds gathering on the horizon. There's definitely trouble coming, and in ways more than one. Tax irregularities, of all things? Looks like thee dear ol queen is being taken to the cleaners... and she can't quickly or easily put a stop to it. And now our man Zenjiro might have inadvertently opened a big can of worms, one that might cause great anger to some powerful people. Ah, the life in a royal court. I wouldn't take it for all the tea in China, or all the money in the world, for that matter. Everyone could be your downfall. There is no such thing as trust. You have to be suspicious of everyone, and keep your guard up at all times. Otherwise you may be the one next uttering "Et tu, Brutus?" Please tell me you know what that quote is from... anyways, I'm enjoying this tale so far. I intend to download the rest of the series tomorrow when I get up (it's beddy-by boz time again here). Art, very nice. The queen is absolutely stunning. I think any warm-blooded guy would love to have a gal like her. Dialogue, great. It fits well with the subject matter, feels very natural. Characters, interesting, likeable, and engaging.

I wasn't too sure about this series at first but it did grab my attention and I really quite enjoy it!

Your standard MC is someone living an ordinary life but then receives an opportunity to be married to a beautiful princess in a fantasy land that's not of this Earth. Of course, the MC accepts which kickstarts the story. There's a bit of medieval fantasy, mixed with politics, and magic in this story which is kind of mysterious but appealing to the audience.

I am curious whether or not this series will become an Anime on television because it does seem like it has enough content for an anime adaptation.

Although it isn't as action-packed as a series such as Jobless Reincarnation or Konosuba, it does stand out to me because it focuses on a generic main character who learns about a new world, he brings things from his old world to essentially share with the people he meets, especially his lover, and it's a setting that explains and teaches itself to him. As an audience, we learn alongside the main character to understand what is going on and I think it's quite unique.

For young adults that want a simple fantasy combined with modern realism that the MC brings, I think this is worth a read. If not, then it's totally fine to keep browsing other series too.

The manga of Sponger Life is a bit of a fun, light isekai. The market is admittedly over saturated with these currently. This one works hard to stand out by being about an adult protagonist rather than a high school student. The result is better than average, although not brilliant.

Like any "adapted from" manga this one suffers from the problem that there is no way to fit all of the original light novel's content into a manga format. It still delivers a fun (at least for the target audience) story, but skips over many of the more interesting details. Having read some fan translations of the LN (there's no official translation) I can say that yes there is a reasonable amount more detail in it.

The first couple releases of this manga promise a bit of a fun diversion. My main grip about the content itself is that the way Aura is drawn varies to the point where some panels she looks well endowed but relatively normal but others leave you wondering how her back doesn't snap. Note - some may end up being turned off as the ground work is laid for the potential for this to be turned into a harem; although Zenjiro spends a good bit of time working to prevent that.

First of all The Ideal Sponger Life earns it's older teen rating without going to over board by showing a relationship between a husband and wife. I'd say for the type of romance shonen this is, it's fan service is tasteful and surprisingly relevant to it's story. The story is simple but intriguing, Aura is the last of a royal family line and is Queen of her country and is looking for a husband to continue her royal bloodline. Otherwise there are more than a few enemies that would love to see the kingdom fade away. She finds Zenjiro the last distance person with royal blood in his veins, the catch is he's from Earth and has to chose between marrying her and leaving Earth behind forever.

Zenjiro and Aura have a surprising amount of depth to their characters despite appearing to be standard cliches at first. There also seems to be a large amount of political intrigue going on in the background, which has me hopeful that the series might have a surprising amount of depth to it. The artwork clean and simple with a fun flair about it. Here's hoping the series continues to develop in a deep way.

While the description and the first few color pages might have you thinking this is a standard isekai with a splash of ecchi this is far from that. The main protagonist gets summoned to this other world, but now must navigate the culture of a foreign land and provide support to the queen who summoned him in political affairs. As this develops so too does their relationship and it is really a heartwarming read. I had only got this when the price dropped briefly and I needed another light novel to read. To my surprise, I got a manga and a very good read. I bought volume 2 and later 3 when it came out. Will be continuing the series.

Not sure what I was expecting when I ordered this book, but it was better than I expected

The honorifics san, sama, etc is only in this volume and it kinda makes sense in order to differentiate the cultures. The other volumes don't have them so don't fret. I've seen too many mangas with crappy translations but this one is good
