Now, I’ll admit before you start thinking my children are little saints, that my husband and me are the only ones that love brussels sprouts. I can usually convince both girls to eat a crispy leaf from one, but that’s about as far as it goes.

Spoiler Alert: Sophia ate her entire portion of brussels sprouts with this meal! I’ll attribute it to the fact that they soaked up the delicious flavor of the apples and Smoked Bacon Pork Loin Filet.

You can also cook your Smithfield pork loin in an air fryer! I love using my air fryer for pork tenderloins because they turn out so juicy inside and perfectly cooked. Here are some tips on using your air fryer to cook a pork tenderloin:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees, about 5 minutes. This is one of the only recipes that I usually preheat my air fryer and the reason is that it takes much less time to cook since it’s already at the desired temperature.
  • No seasonings or rubs are required when you’re cooking a smithfield pork loin in air fryer because it’s already marinated!
  • Be sure you are using a small Smithfield pork tenderloin. They are usually around 1 pound in weight and a 2 inch diameter. These cooking tips are for this size of a pork loin. If needed, you can cut it in half if you have a smaller air fryer.
  • Cook your Smithfield pork tenderloin in air fryer for about 18 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
  • Let your pork loin rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
