Transfer fails every time. It doesn't tell you important setup information needed to complete the process. If the iPhone goes to sleep the transfer fails, but you can't change settings to keep the screen on until AFTER the transfer and the default is 60 seconds, so you have to keep touching it every 50 seconds. Transfer time is estimated in hours so that's fun. Still haven't gotten it to work. It would be nice if either the app or the iphone told you WHY the transfer process failed. 114 people found this review helpful
Terrible job with messages. 100% of my spam and maybe 50% of my valid messages transferred. Couldn't differentiate between Google contact/calendar data and local contact/calendar resulting in many duplicates of those options are selected. No call history option either. Eventually used SMS Backup and Restore app to backup messages and call history to a place i could access with my PC. 4 people found this review helpful
2 stars because this app does not transfer call logs and most importantly text messages from banks, carrier and other utilities. There are other unofficial and paid apps/software to transfer all text messages from Android to iOS but they aren't reliable. Photos, contacts, music, other files and WhatsApp are easy to transfer. Kindly fix this text message issue so that it makes Android phone user's life easier to transition to iPhone. 139 people found this review helpful What's newThis release adds support for transferring WhatsApp messages and attachments from Android to iPhone.

To sync your Chrome bookmarks to your new device, update the Chrome app on your old device. To back up data to Google Drive from your Android phone, go to Settings > Google > Backup (or search backup in settings.) Then select Back up now. How to Sign Out of RCSRich Communication Services (RCS) enables you to send encrypted messages including text, videos, photos, and GIFs. If your Android phone uses Google Messages for text messages, you need to turn off RCS before you switch your phone to avoid missing messages. On your Android device, go to the Google Messages app and follow these steps:

You can’t undo this, so remember to back up your data to Google Drive first! Do You Need a VPN on Your iPhone?Yes! Apple devices have great security, but it never hurts to take extra precautions. A VPN will make your phone’s connection more secure, especially if you use public Wi-Fi. Stay Safe on Public Wi-FiPublic Wi-Fi networks are so convenient when you’re away from home. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi networks at airports, train stations, and malls are usually unsecured — even Apple devices are at risk on these networks. Cybercriminals often use these unsecured networks to steal user data. Use a VPN with end-to-end encryption to avoid snooping on these networks. Enable automatic Wi-Fi protection in the CyberGhost app to protect your iPhone on any public Wi-Fi network. Set it and forget it! Keep Your Identity PrivateEveryone from cybercriminals to marketing companies want to get their hands on your data. Apple has recognized this and integrated features that limit tracking, with even more security features on the way. Still, you shouldn’t rely on Apple to prevent identity theft. CyberGhost’s state-of-the-art encryption secures your data so no one can read it. Our strict No Logs policy guarantees we won’t track anything you do online. For complete online anonymity, use CyberGhost VPN on your iPhone. Use on All Your DevicesCyberGhost VPN isn’t just for iOS and Android. We also have apps for Windows, Mac, Linux, and more.
