The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released its regional boys and girls wrestling assignments.

The Russell boys will be part of the Norton Class 3-2-1A Regional on February 18-19. Other schools competing will be Atwood-Rawlins County, Cheylin, Cimarron, Ellis, TMP-Marian, Hill City, Hoxie, Ingalls, Lakin, Leoti-Wichita County, Norton, Oakley, Oberlin-Decatur Community, Osborne, Phillipsburg, Plainville, Quinter, Smith Center, St. Francis, Stockton and Trego.

The Russell girls go to the Colby 4-1A Regional on February 11-12. Joining Russell in the regional is Abilene, Atwood-Rawlins County, Chapman, Cimarron, Clay Center, Colby, Concordia, Ellinwood, Ellis, Ellsworth, Goodland, TMP-Marian, Hoisington, Holcomb, Hoxie, Hugoton, Lakin, Larned, Norton, Oakley, Phillipsburg, Plainville, Scott City, Stockton, Ulysses and Trego.

The girls 4-1A state tournament is February 23-24 at Tony’s Pizza Events Center in Salina. The boys 3-2-1A state tournament is February 25-26 at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.
