How to close a capital one 360 checking account online

Many financial institutions allow you to do this online, but it could require a phone call to customer service or a visit to a local bank branch. Some banks and credit unions may require you to fill out an account closure request form or submit a written request.

It's easy to delete or edit a payment account you've got on file with us. Just click on your Profile picture and select Settings. Then, click the account you want to make changes to and follow the instructions.

Here's how you can close your account online. Sign in to your account and click on the Card you wish to close. Select "I Want To," scroll to "Control Your Card" and follow the directions under Close Account.
