How to add new kindle to amazon account

When you purchase content from the Amazon.com Kindle Store, the content is linked to your Amazon account rather than a specific device. Any Kindle-compatible devices linked to that account can then share the purchased content, allowing you to distribute e-books or personal documents to multiple devices. This can be useful for sending company documents -- or e-books relevant to members of your staff, workforce or clientele -- to read at their convenience on their Kindles. This process can be further streamlined by registering Kindles to the same email address, so documents and e-books can be sent via a single email with an attachment.

  1. Turn your second Kindle on and press the "Home" button.

  2. Press the "Menu" button and select "Settings."

  3. Select "Deregister," followed by the "Deregister" button in the dialog box that appears. The second Kindle is unlinked from the Amazon.com account it is currently registered to.

  4. Press the "Menu" button and select "Register."

  5. Enter the email address and password of the Amazon.com account used by your first Kindle device, and then click the "Register" button.

  6. Launch the Web browser on your computer and navigate to the Amazon.com homepage. Click the "Sign In" button and enter the same email address and password used to register your second Kindle. You are logged in to your Amazon.com account.

  7. Click the "Manage Your Kindle" button in the "Kindle Support" section. The settings section for your Kindle devices is displayed.

  8. Click the "Personal Document Settings" link in the "Your Kindle Account" menu.

  9. Click the "Edit" link to the right of your second Kindle's name in the "Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings" section. Change the "@kindle.com" email address to match that of your first Kindle and click the "Update" button. Your second Kindle is now registered to the same email addresses as your first Kindle.

Can you have multiple Kindle accounts on one Amazon account?

I have three of them (Kindles). Yes. Each one is a different 'device', and when ordering a book, I can tell Amazon which 'device' to download to - I can put a book on one of them, or on two, or on all three. Amazon doesn't care.
First, make sure that your Kindle is connected to the internet. From the home screen, swipe down to open the Quick Actions or select Menu. Select the Sync icon or the Sync and Check for Items option.
