Do you mean free parking for the night you're staying or to leave yourcar while you're gone?

I don't know of any hotel that will allow you to park on the property if you're not registered. If you want to leave your car, check http://detroit.parksleepfly.com/.

Most of the larger hotels around Metro Airport offer shuttle service. You could also check the Westin which is located in the McNamara Terminal and offers packages that include up to 10-days of parking and bridge/tunnel tolls.

I usually stay at the Crown Plaza right by the airport. Nice hotel and a good rate for my lodging and parking. Call the property, I have gotten a better rate by doing that.

Actually I have parked free for a week after one night's stay. Some hotels give a discount instead. Some charge for the shuttle. I just can't remember who does what. I'll check it out. Thank you.

We have stayed at Springhill Suites which is directly across Merriman Rd. from theAirlines Parking lot.

They provide a voucher for free weekly parking at the Airlines lot . Just drive into the lot across the street and the shuttle will pick you up and shuttle you to the airport. The shuttle will be availble on your return to drop you at your car.

They are very convenient and efficient and the nice part is that your car is inside a secured parking lot instead of sitting in the open at a hotel lot.

What a deal! I just phoned them - $99 - double room for 2, with breakfast and parking up to 8 nights. Thank You.
