Haunted house jobs for 14 year olds

Thank you for visiting Eerie Entertainment’s employment page. As the parent company to ScreamWorld, we are looking for part-time workers to help us continue to be voted the number 1 haunted attraction in Southeast Texas. We are currently looking to fill the following positions; actors, crowd control, make-up artist, and parking lot personnel. If you like to scare people, then join Houston’s number one Scream Team at ScreamWorld!

If you have an interest in any of the positions listed below, please take the time to fill out the short application form provided. Thank you in advance for your interest.

No experience is required. Most of our best actors have no acting experience at all. What  is required? Lots of energy, reliable transportation to and from work, showing up on time, be able to work weekends, and most important, a love for Halloween genre. If you like to dress up as your favorite scary monster, scare the * % # !  out of people, and get paid for it, then ScreamWorld is the place for you!

ScreamWorld will provide the costumes, make-up, and masks. Plus we have a great cast costume party at the end of the season. We also cook dinner for our cast members on Friday and Saturday nights before we open. Although the job is fun, it takes a lot of energy and can be very demanding on busy nights. This job is not for everyone, but if you like to scare people and are not afraid to work, please fill out the short application below.

Some experience is required. You must be able to deal with scared, excited customers without resorting to violence. We don’t treat people like you would at a concert or a bar, no one gets tossed out on their head. Besides crowd control, the job duties include checking the haunted houses for damage, helping open and close the attraction each night, working the entrance and exit, monitoring the dressing room, and some clean-up.

No experience is required. We will train you how to direct the traffic in and out of ScreamWorld’s parking lot and how the vehicles need to be parked. ScreamWorld will supply each parking lot attendant with a reflective vest, flashlight, and a two-way radio.

Experience is required. Some of our make-up is done with an air-brush, so you must have experience and a portfolio to show us your work. We are also looking for experienced artist in “special effects” make-up who can work with latex, this person needs to be able to work very fast. This position requires a lot of creativity and a love of the genre. A demonstration may also be required.
