  1. Reschedule within 24 hours: You can reschedule your appointment time up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment – simply pull up your original order email and use the link provided in that email to reschedule.
  1. Let’s be on time: Punctuality is very important to me; I aim to never be late to our session. When a client books a tarot reading, they are paying for time; that means, if one client is late or does not show, another client could be made to wait – which frankly is not fair to anyone. To avoid this, I promise never to pass on someone else’s tardiness to you; I will not add time to a session a client is late to, and I will not be late to yours. I do build in a 5-minute grace period though, so it is there if & when you need it; just know that after 5-minutes has passed, I will consider the session a no-call-no-show (see below for more on that). You are responsible for having your phone or computer setup & ready to go before the session starts (there is a handy guide in your confirmation email, in case you need it).
  1. No no-call-no-shows: Our session starts at the time you booked for. I will standby on the call for up to 5 minutes after your session begins. If you do not show within 5 minutes, I will no longer be available to finish the session and a new appointment will have to be booked for another day & time via the website. If this happens once, it is not refundable, but you can book a new appointment like normal without any issue. If it happens a second time, unfortunately, I will not be able to accept future booking requests. So please; I respect our time greatly, I ask that you please respect our time together, too.
  1. A good reading needs a quiet space: Loud commotion does not facilitate a good tarot reading. In other words… be courteous and conduct your reading in a space that is quiet and without distractions. Examples of situations that are NOT situations to start your reading in or around: driving a car, barking dogs, out at a restaurant, wind tunnels, shopping at a store, loud music, etc. While we all find ourselves in these situations at some point or another, please find your way to a quiet space before our reading begins. I cannot give you a meaningful reading when there are tons of background noises and/or other things causing distractions. If necessary, I will ask once to please find a peaceful spot for us to continue. If I must ask again, I will ask you to mute your side of the call so I can proceed without distraction, for your own benefit.
  1. My availability on the website is always up to date: When you book your session, you will see my current availability on the website. I ask all of my clients to use the website to view and book based on the times shown. The reason for this is that squeezing someone in would mean squeezing someone out, which I cannot do as a matter of respect for everyone's time. Sometimes, I can make adjustments to your appointment; if it is under 24 hours, please feel free to email me and I'll do what I can to help!
  1. Tarot reading is not a substitute for therapy: If you are struggling with a mental or emotional issue that needs support, please seek a licensed counselor. I am not a medical doctor or licensed therapist. I cannot offer support outside of my expertise; interpreting and writing about tarot symbolism (and playing the harp).
  1. Readings are done via Zoom audio, not video: Cameras distract me and impede my ability to give a clear, unbiased reading. I have found that the less extraneous information (i.e. body language, facial expressions, etc.), the better & more objective I can be with the readings I provide.
  1. I do not record or store our sessions: I do not currently support recording via the Zoom directly. However, you are welcome to record your session with me on an external recording device (just make sure you are setup to do so before our session begins). If you would like me to take a picture of your tarot spread and send it to you after the reading, please let me know at the beginning of the reading and I am happy to send you a photo.
  1. Once your reading is over, the cards are shuffled: After our session is over, I respectfully ask that you avoid emailing me follow-up questions regarding the reading, be it something forgotten from a session or asking me to draw a card on x/y/z. I cannot do that; not only because of timing concerns, but also because once I physically leave our reading together, I’ve mentally left it, too, and the cards are shuffled up in preparation for the next client.
  1. Sometimes, it is not a good fit, and that is ok: As a general standard, I reserve the right to refuse any client service, for any reason, at any time, with or without exception to the policies outlined here or elsewhere. This is a rare thing for me to do (only a handful of times have I felt it necessary). Outside of some of the things I have outlined already, I do maintain a right to dignity and general respect between myself and my clients. If a line has been crossed, I will refuse service, with or without explanation. Or, if I feel that I am not able to provide you with the support you need via our sessions, I will tell you so honestly & without any hard feelings; know that I do this to honor and respect both the time & money you are asking to spend with me.

By booking a reading with me, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the above terms and conditions.

Thank you! I look forward to having a session with you soon! ~ Elliot **

What are Oracle Tarot cards used for?

According to the author, the cards can be used daily for reflection, meditation, or in a tarot-inspired spread and are meant to help you develop your intuition, self-love, inner beauty, and emotional well-being.

What do oracle cards mean?

Similar to a tarot deck, an oracle deck is a collection of cards that provide guidance and perspective on our lived experience. But while tarot decks tend to follow a specific structure—78 cards split between major or minor arcana—oracle decks can be more loose and interpretive.

What does the lobster mean in the moon card?

In the Tarot, the lobster is featured in The Moon card rising from the sea. She carries the wisdom of the subconscious to the surface. Water is the element that corresponds with emotion, its unseen truths and ever-moving surface.
