Bath and body works strawberry pound cake review

I finally got the entire line and I was able to test everything today! So I thought I’d stop by here to tell all of you my thoughts on this extremely hyped up scent! Here we go!!!

SPC Candle: Where it all began. This candle is such a good addition to my candle collection! It almost immediately made my room smell just like fresh strawberries and cream. It doesn’t have the artificial medicinal smell at all, either. It is not worth $24.50, obviously. Just like none of the candles are ever worth full price. But if you can grab this candle on a sale or with a good coupon it is definitely worth the purchase!

SPC Body Mousse: I wanted to eat this product SO bad. It is basically strawberry whipped cream that is skin safe. The mousse is a light pink color too! Although it is a very fun product, it’s probably my least favorite. The scent with this one is very light and lasts for a few minutes only. I couldn’t smell it for very long at all after application. I feel like it does a poor job of moisturizing too, but maybe it’s just me. This product may be good in the summer when you need a light lotion, but for $18.50 I would say it’s not worth it.

SPC Body Cream: I am in love with this one. Unlike the mousse, the scent on this lasts a good while. This is the strongest and longest lasting product in the line, in my opinion. It’s a typical body cream, very moisturizing and thick. Definitely recommend the body cream.

SPC Body Lotion: Very normal body lotion. The scent is lighter than the body cream, but still very much noticeable. It smells just like strawberry and cream yogurt honestly. Again, no medicinal smell to it at all. Just a very straightforward sweet strawberry scent

SPC Body Mist: I was actually kind of disappointed with this. I know mists aren’t supposed to last very long, but this one just fades SO quick. The scent is so perfect, and if it lasted longer the mist would be too. I just feel like it’s really lacking and they could’ve done better. Now a SPC Perfume would be something else... (I wish.)

SPC Body Wash: It’s a solid body wash! The scent lingers after getting out, and it pairs perfectly with the body cream or body lotion! In the bottle it does smell stronger than the lotion, but once applied it lightens up a bit so that it’s not overwhelming!

Overall, I think this line is great and has fantastic potential! The scent is the same with each product which I LOVE. I’m glad it’s not one of those where the body wash smells different than the lotion. It’s a light and delicious strawberry and cream scent with a hint of sweet cake. I definitely recommend trying out the cream, lotion, and body wash! And the mist is alright too! Sorry for the super long post! I just thought it might be informative and helpful to the people who haven’t tried it yet! ❤️❤️❤️SPC

it smells great but only lasts like an hour definitely not for an all day smell. If you want it to last longer you can use Vaseline buy for like $20-30 dollars I expected it to last a lot longer

i was reading reviews about this before purchasing, and i saw just how many people were saying it smelled like actual strawberries and how fresh it was etc. not the case at all. when first applying, it smells like an old lady perfume but you gotta let it dry a little bit before it'll start smelling good. once dried it smells like vanilla and sugar and will last all day. i recommend spraying on skin and not clothes because the clothes will stay smelling like old lady.
i'm not sure if this is important to mention, but the one i got had different packaging than this one, the one i got looked newer in a way, maybe the formula was different? either way, smells good but nothing like strawberries

This is one of Bath & Body works best scents they have made!!! It's so youthful and fun and sweet but not overpowering. You could spray this head to toe and it wouldn't be overpowering but it does last! Bbw is having a big issue with the staying power of their sprays but this one stays longer than some other new ones. So as for the strawberry scent, it doesn't smell like fresh berries , it smells like an artificial strawberry smell you would find in a little girls lip gloss , but it just works and is amazing!!! Have been using this with the body cream every day and it just makes you smell so delicious!!!! Also shipping was very very fast and cheap compared to BBW online it would have been 15.50 + 5.99 shipping vs only $13 so you can't go wrong !!!

The price was a little pricey however it was sold out on the website and in the store nearest me. Nice scent if you like strawberry smell.
