Very happy with this intake. I had used a universal kit (~$60) on my previous vehicle, but that didn’t seem to be an option for my current vehicle. Tubing is very heavy, painted in a gunmetal black with texture. I think this type of coating is also heat resistant which keeps incoming air cooler. Inside of the tube is smooth with no corners or angles, which is a huge factor with increasing air flow. The filter and box are also of good quality. Heavy box, also gunmetal black, and a large rechargeable filter. Removing the old filter box and tubes took more time than the actual installation. Everything fit as it should. No strain on any components and no slack. I haven’t noticed any rubbing on the engine cover as a previous reviewer stated, but I have also painted my cover with bedliner (to cover up white writing stating oil capacity). The only reason I took away a star is because of the price. I understand the price of engineering for specific vehicles, materials and labor, but $300 is a bit steep. And that goes for all that manufacture this type of product, not just this company. It’s overpriced all around. BUT, I throughly enjoy the small pep and throttle response it gave my vehicle and the deeper growl I can hear. I want to say it had an effect on my gas mileage after a 1700 mile round trip from Buffalo NY to Atlanta GA, but it’s hard to say. My v6 engine pulled 26mpg avg after 4 days, but that’s at thruway speeds of between 65-80mph. So I’ll sceptically say yes, it helps. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 25, 2020 I hesitated and wish I didn’t. I added this to my Cherokee Trailhawk and LOVE it. I’ve had multiple CAIs on other cars to include modern muscle cars. I was blown away at the response and growl of the aFe. I almost went with another brand but think I made the right decision. Driving in sport mode today it felt like I had a V-8.

Due to the position of the throttle body being so close to the cabin, sound increase is substantial with the removal of the plenum. I don't mind it at all, though some may. Overall, great product. More air plus higher combustion rate equals FASTER BURNING! motor is built for 85-87 octane.
