When is the demogorgon coming back to fortnite 2022

More and more characters from series, movies or other games have appeared as skins in Fortnite. To make sure you don't lose track of the story behind the characters, we'll keep you in the loop. Our weekly series returns with a lit collaboration between Epic Games and Stranger Things: theDemogorgon.

Fortnite Skin Demogorgon

The Demogorgon is the monster from the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. It is a predatory humanoid creature that first appeared in November 1983 in Hawkins, Indiana. The creature came from the parallel dimension known as the Upside Down. When Eleven, a psychic test subject at Hawkins National Laboratory, made interdimensional contact with the Demogorgon, a gateway between dimensions opened in the lab. The creature stepped through and terrorized Hawkins for about a week. It kidnapped various residents and brought them back to the Upside Down, where it mostly killed them.

The Demogorgon and Chief Hopper were added to Fortnite in Chapter 1, Season 9 just in time for the start of Season 3 of the Netflix series. Before that, strange portals appeared all over the map, which was probably meant to represent something like the Upside Down dimension. Unfortunately, these two skins are the only characters from the series that made it to the island.

How To Get The Chief Hopper Skin In Fortnite?

The Demogorgon skin was added to Fortnite on July 05, 2019, as part of the "Stranger Things" set in Chapter 1, Season 9 with Patch 09.30. It is available every now and then in the Fortnite item store and can be purchased exclusively here.
