Switching from family plan to individual verizon

Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. Click Manage Wireless Numbers.
  4. Click I want to...
  5. In the "Plans and Features" section, click Manage Plans (100 Line Max).
  6. From the "My current plans page", select a plan under the Account Share Plans or Individual Plans sections.
  7. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to select the lines for the plan change.
  8. Once selected, click Change plan.
  9. Select the plan of your choice.
    • Please note that you can have either one shared plan, aggregate plan, or mix and match plan on your account at a time.
    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  10. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  11. Click Continue.
  12. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.

Follow the steps below to change your plan on 1 line or up to 100 lines.

  8. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to the select the lines for the plan change.
  9. Once selected, click Change Plan.
  10. Select the plan of your choice.
    • Please note that you can have either one shared plan, aggregate plan, or mix and match plan on your account at a time.
    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  11. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  12. Click Continue.
  13. On the Review Page, select Effective Date and click Submit.

  9. Click Change Plan.

    • To add one of these plans to your account, all lines from your current plan(s) will have to move to the new plan.
  10. Next, select the data allowance for the plan chosen.
  11. Click Continue.
  12. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.

  7. On the "Plan details" page, scroll down to select the lines for the plan change.
  8. Once selected, click Change Plan.
  9. In the pop up box, click Change Data.
  10. Select all lines from the next pop up.
  11. Next, select the data amount from the plan changes page and click Continue.
  12. On the Review Page, select the Effective Date and click Submit.

Follow these steps to change your plan on more than 100 lines at a time.

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click Manage Account.
  3. In the “Service” column, click Bulk Account Maintenance.
  4. Select Change Plan and click Continue.
  5. Check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions and click Continue.
  6. In the “Change Plan” section, click Download Template to get the Calling Plan Change template to change multiple numbers on the same plan.
  7. Enter "X" in the Update Information column for every line you want to change plans on, and upload the template by clicking Choose File to retrieve the completed template from your computer.
  8. Click Upload & Continue.
  9. Select a new plan for the lines you want to change.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. In the “Plans & Features” section, your features and click Continue.
  12. Review your changes and click Submit.

You'll get a confirmation number and email for your records. 

    Can I remove myself from a family plan Verizon?

    Can you switch from family plan to individual?

    To take ownership of your line simply have the account holder process a Transfer of Billing Responsibility of your line to you. After accepting the transfer, you ar required to create your own account and select a plan. We hope this info helps!

    If you want to keep your number, your family plan owner needs to process a transfer of billing responsibility of your line to you. When you accept the transfer, you will set up your own account and plan.

    How do I get out of my family plan?

    On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings" or go to Assistant settings. Your people. Tap the family member you want to remove. Turn off Family group.
