Pumpkin cream cold brew release date 2022

UPDATE: Starbucks’ to officially release its pumpkin spice latte Aug. 30, along with several other fall menu items

Dunkin’, 7-Elven and many others have released their pumpkin fall flavors already this year. Starbucks, however, still hasn’t officially announced when the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte be back on the menu.

Starbucks started selling pumpkin spiced lattes in 2003, beginning the fall craze. In 2019, the coffee giant added its second pumpkin drink, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

See below for more about what we do know about the PSL.

When did the PSL release in previous years?

The Pumpkin Spice Latte typically releases at the end of August at Starbucks.

In 2021, the popular autumn beverage returned on Tuesday, Aug. 24. In 2020, it returned to menus Aug. 25. And in 2019, Starbucks released the fan favorite on Aug. 27.

For at least the past five years, the beloved drink has been released on a Tuesday.

When could it be released this year?

Starbucks still hasn’t officially announced its plans. However, if previous years are any indication, it’ll likely be released Tuesday, Aug. 30.

That’s the same date Starbucks food blogger Markie Devo reported.

The menu, according to Devo’s Instagram post, will include the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Pumpkin Cold Brew, a reformulated Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, Pumpkin Scone and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.

Can I get Starbucks fall items sooner than that?

Starbucks has already brought back its pumpkin spice products to grocery stores.

Items that are returning to shelves this year include Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Coffee, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Creamer, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Non-Dairy Creamer and Starbucks Iced Espresso Pumpkin Spice Latte.

They also have two new items.

The Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Nitro Cold Brew is “infused with nitrogen microbubbles to create a rush of creamy texture and velvety smooth taste.” It is available in a 12 oz can and costs $3.69.

The Starbucks Salted Caramel Mocha Flavored Coffee is also new. It is described as having “rich mocha flavors” that “pair perfectly with sweet, salty caramel notes to create a delicately crafted flavor that will lift up your cup.” It costs about $12 for an 11-oz bag.

It is “a delicious treat for any time of the day or night,” the company said.

Where can I get other pumpkin flavored drinks?

Many companies have already released their fall flavors.

On Aug. 17, customers were able to purchase all of Dunkin’s pumpkin classics along with two brand-new drink items for the fall. And The Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Coffee returned to 7-Eleven on Aug. 5.

Samuel Adams pumpkin beer is also back in stores.

It offers Jack-O and OctoberFest. It also offers a Sweater Weather Variety Pack, which is a seasonal assortment of OctoberFest, Jack-O, Festbier and Boston Lager. The company describes it as being “perfect to bring to the party when summer nights turn crisp.”

Oreo brought back its Pumpkin Spice Cookies for a limited time and it’s better than last time, according to MassLive’s Nick O’Malley.
