  1. McKissock

Let’s look at their pros and cons so you can decide where you best fit.

McKissock

Pennsylvania real estate continuing education online courses

McKissock is one of America’s most trusted brands when it comes to online real estate continuing education.

While most pre-licensing courses under the Colibri Group are offered by Real Estate Expresses, McKissock specializes in CE programs, which are available across the country.

With McKissock, you have the option to choose from any of the three education packages or purchase courses individually.

Available bundles include first-time renewal, 14-hour renewal, and a CE Plus Membership package.

The basic renewal packages cost around $100, while the premium option costs a little over $125.

The most expensive option offers great value for money and includes unlimited access to all CE courses available in Pennsylvania.

While other schools miss out on some essential information in their coursework, McKissock ensures that its content is complete and up-to-date. So you can rely on them to make sure you stay current with real estate industry trends.

Plus, they have a reliable customer support team to assist you if you have questions or concerns.

That said, McKissock’s CE courses tend to be word-heavy. You will need to do a lot of reading. It does contain some multimedia content, though, that adds a little bit of an interactive element.

MBitionToLearn

Pennsylvania real estate continuing education online courses

MBitionToLearn, previously known as OnCourse Learning, is a top online real estate school that has been around for decades.

It is one of the first adopters of web-based real estate education in the country and has years and years of expertise in training professionals.

Its CE program has excellent content in easy-to-read formats. It contains bite-sized chunks of information that help students focus and retain what they learn.

It also features helpful images, informative videos, and fun quizzes and games that keep learners from getting bored.

The lessons are quick and easy. Even if you’ve got a busy home with kids running around, you’ll get through the course without much hassle.

A downside to MBition’s course is its lack of direct access to customer support. Even on the website, there is no chat function readily available. You will need to dial the hotline found on the site to get help.

Despite that, MBition’s basic renewal package is one of the most affordable options at around $90. Keep in mind that it does not come with benefits other than the state-mandated continuing education courses.

You can purchase supplemental learning materials from their online bookstore, though. You can choose from physical textbooks or downloadable ebooks that cost from around $25 to $250.

The CE Shop

Pennsylvania real estate continuing education online courses

The CE Shop is a well-trusted brand devoted to providing professionals an innovative and results-driven experience. Its mission is to provide online education that enhances the lives of professionals, as well as their communities.

The school is known for its highly interactive continuing education courses. Its coursework presents text content in short, easy-to-read sections.

Throughout the course, there are many resource materials that you can use as an additional study tool.

There are also short quizzes that will keep you on your feet and helps you absorb the material better.

Other than the above, one of the best things about signing up with The CE Shop is it gives back to its community through The CE Shop Foundation. In 2020, It has successfully raised funds amounting to over $50,000, which was enough to feed over 12,000 kids and their families.

The only downside with The CE Shop is that it does not offer a money-back guarantee for its continuing education courses.

Kaplan

Pennsylvania real estate continuing education online courses

Kaplan Real Estate Education is an e-learning company that provides online training to help you begin and advance your real estate career.

As one of the country’s premier real estate schools, it offers educational programs through different delivery methods, more flexible schedules, and a wide selection of courses for you to choose from.

If you are a visual learner, their video-based courses will suit your learning style better. You will earn your required CE credits by simply watching high-quality, informative videos. All this for a price around $30 to $50.

On the other hand, if you prefer reading, their click-through text-based program is for you. In my opinion, this is the easier and faster option and it only costs around $30 to $40 each. However, you may get bored from the lack of interactive elements.

The only complaint with Kaplan is its prices are pretty steep compared to other schools. It would also be nice if Kaplan offered real estate license renewal education packages.

Polley Associates

Pennsylvania real estate continuing education online courses

Polley Associates School of Real Estate is a Philadelphia-based school that also offers continuing education courses in Pennsylvania. It has been around since the 1970s and has served thousands of real estate professionals.

Polley Associates offers three delivery formats for its CE courses. You can either sign up for a traditional in-person class or join a live stream. If you want the most convenient option, you can opt for the self-paced online course.

The self-paced course does not have an expiry date, but you need to finish it before the renewal deadline. It may be a little bland, but it is easy to go through. There are occasional quizzes, but no final test - no added pressure on completing the course.

Its basic Pennsylvania packages cost around $130.
