In that same vein, the Ohio State USBC Board of Directors want to wish retiring Association Manager, Daniel L. Martin well in his retirement and much success in all his future endeavors.     Daniel came to the Ohio State USBC as Association Manager of the Ohio State USBC BA, where he had served for 27 years in addition to serving the Ohio State USBC for these last four years.

Ohio State USBC held its’ Annual Meeting and Convention on May 21, 2022. During the meeting legislation was presented and subsequently approved by the delegation for an increase in state dues.

Effective August 1, 2022, state dues will increase to $2.00 per bowler.

Instructions to update the Winlabs program will be sent to association managers and presidents in July.

The first event of the 2022-23 bowling season will soon be here… Jamboree weekend will be September 24th and 25th hosted by the Miami Valley USBC.  This is your first chance to network with fellow association leaders and learn about changes coming for the new bowling season.  The FUN weekend kicks off with a bowling tournament and dinner on Saturday night with a speaker who will talk about youth bowling.  Sunday morning, following a full breakfast, you will take an active part in a workshop designed to address association challenges.  Tournament, Dinner, Breakfast and Workshop are $50.00.  Dinner, Breakfast and Workshop $40.00 Reservation deadline is September 3rd.

The Women’s and Open Senior Championships tournaments entry forms are now available. The 2022 tournament will take place at HP lanes in Columbus beginning the October 15,2022 and runs through November 20, 2022.

This is a tournament open to the 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 All Events Handicap & Scratch winners of both the Open and Women’s Championship Tournaments of any Ohio State USBC affiliated local association where All Events Handicap & Scratch are part of the local association tournament. The 2021 tournament was held at HP Lanes in Columbus, Ohio on June 19, 2021. Entries forms will be sent out to all local associations in the fall for next year’s tournament.

This handicap youth tournament is open to Ohio youth members who are under the age of 18 as of July 31, 2021. The youth must bowl in a USBC certified league within the jurisdiction of the Ohio State USBC or live within the state.

The 2022 tournament will be held at Capri Lanes  in Dayton, Ohio. Tournament dates will be April 2/3 & April 9/10, 2022. Tournament entry forms will come out in late October.
