Description

Check out our vintage Ocean City townhouse nestled in the heart of the historic district. Situated in the epicenter of Ocean City you are within blocks of the beach, boardwalk, restaurants, parks, shopping, and multiple places of worship. This property has been cared for and is clean and in excellent condition. Property features both front and rear decks with plenty of inside and outside storage. This classic 3-story floor-plan is complete with 5 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bath, 1 half bath, and outdoor shower.

Ample off-street parking for three cars adjacent to the property is included along with plenty of storage space for beach gear. Five beach cruiser bikes are included in the rental. We purchased this property in summer 2018 after being owned for over 50 years by its previous owner. It is is great shape and we use it with our family as well and we take care of it like it is our second home.

About Steve Melick
We have three children and decided after years of renting and staying with relatives to own a place of our own. We will spend time here over the summer and off-season and Ocean City is the place to vacation along the Jersey shore. Megan is a social worker, Steve is an entrepreneur and works at a university in Philadelphia.

Why we chose Downtown Ocean City
This property has everything we wanted: parking, location close to the beach/boards and center of town, and was spectacularly clean and well maintained. The previous owners had this in their family for over 50 years and we look forward to making our own memories here. Our adjoining property owners are great and take the same amount of care of the property as we do and we work together to resolve any issues that might come up.

What makes this House unique
The house was constructed circa 1897 but it is in really great shape inside and out with refinished hardwood floors and paint (and wifi!) We love the outdoor shower and off-street parking is really beneficial in this part of town.

CANCELLATIONS - RENTERS can only cancel their reservation in writing. If the RENTER cancels the reservation before the Check-in date, The OWNER will make every attempt to book another reservation for the same time period. If the Rental Property is re-booked at the same rate or greater, RENTER will receive a full refund of the amount paid minus a 15% service fee to re-list and rebook the property.
We strongly encourage RENTER to purchase Travel Insurance along with their reservation. A ‘Cancel for any Reason’ Travel Insurance Policy protects the RENTER’S investment in the event of unexpected and catastrophic events.

RATES - subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of making your reservation. The remaining 50% and security deposit will be due 45 days prior to arrival.

Perfect family vacation

We had such a fun family vacation! The rental was perfect. It was clean and plenty of space. It was close to the beach and shops. We would stay here again!

Great property

A wonderful time was had by all. Property owners were responsive and description was on point. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. My family loved having access to bikes and being close to the shoppes on Asbury and the boardwalk. We definitely want to come back.

Awesome Stay

Our stay was awesome. Location was perfect. Just a short 5 minute walk and you are right on the boardwalk/beach. My family of nine had plenty of beds to sleep in with some to spare. Also spacious dinning room and big table provided us a place to eat dinner all together or play board games/cards. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great property!

Steve and Megan were great to work with. They went above and beyond for our group of 13 flying in from Minnesota. Close to the beach, boardwalk, the shops on Asbury and the Wednesday Farmers Market. Window air conditioners kept it very comfortable. The bikes were a bonus to use as well. Very nice place. It was very special to share OCNJ with my kids and grandkids and the house was very homey. The porch is great for morning coffee. We loved the board games. Lots of great memories were made. We would love to come back.

Great Place to Stay

510 E 7th St was the perfect spot for our vacation. It’s conveniently located between Ashbury St which includes a lot of place to eat or shop and the beach and boardwalk. I didn’t have to use my car the entire week I was there. The home itself was plenty big for our large group of 14. The owners also provided bikes which were put to good use every day both by the adults and the kids. I would definitely recommend this home for your home away from home while on vacation!

Perfect shore house

This house was perfect for our trip, even though it rained a majority of the time! We had plenty of room to spread out and relax and the dining room table was great for board games!
