Listen to Psalm 121

My Help Comes from the Lord

A Song of (A)Ascents.

121 I (B)lift up my eyes to (C)the hills.
    From where does my help come?
2 (D)My help comes from the Lord,
    who (E)made heaven and earth.

3 He will not (F)let your foot be moved;
    he who (G)keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your keeper;
    the Lord is your (H)shade on your (I)right hand.
6 (J)The sun shall not (K)strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will (L)keep you from all evil;
    he will (M)keep your life.
8 The Lord will keep
    your (N)going out and your coming in
    from this time forth and forevermore.

Where does my hope come from Bible verse?

"Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken." "That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe."

What is the meaning of Psalm 121?

Psalm 121 reminds us, “He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Our God watches over us at all times. He doesn't grow tired or weary as we do. He's not busy doing something else.

What does Isaiah 40 29 mean?

What we require is spiritual strength to endure faithfully. We are the ones who faint and grow weary. In verse 29, the Lord promises to provide strength to us: “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”

What are the message of Psalm 23 to the world?

Psalm 23 reminds us that in life or in death — in times of plenty or want — God is good and worthy of our trust. The psalm uses the metaphor of a shepherd's care for his sheep to describe the wisdom, strength and kindness of our God.
