If you’re a “glow-on-the-go” girl, then Milk Makeup’s latest drop might be just for you. Their new Glow Oil doubles as a lip tint and cheek blush with a sheer shimmer that is subtle enough for everyday wear, but you can keep building up for an easy nighttime look. It’s easy and fast, if you’re not into playing around with a lot of powder blushes; similar to Milk’s original Lip + Cheek Color Stick, but with glow. The stick comes in a tiny colorful package and the glistening tint is instantly visible when the top is removed. There are five shades that range from light coral to deep plum. Not only does the Glow Oil double as a lip tint and cheek blush, but the shimmer could also be used as a highlighter. Plus, it’s hydrating, with ingredients like rice bran oil, and only $14.

Teen Vogue editors put Milk Makeup’s Glow Oil to work to see if it could give us that ideal summer glow. Here’s what we thought:

I'm BIG on blush and I've heard a lot of good things about Milk's original lip + cheek tint, so I was excited to try the Glow Oil. This shade is definitely more pink than what I usually go for (the Glossier Cloud Paints in Haze and Dawn are my staples), but it goes on sheer and, like the product name suggests, has a bit of a glow to it. I’ll definitely be adding to my day-to-day rotation, especially as it gets warmer. I'm interested to see how it pairs with more intense eye looks. - Sammie Scott, Social Media Editor, wearing “Astro”

Orange isn't my favorite color, nor is blush my go-to beauty product, so I was hesitant to test this. Upon application to the cheeks, it was highly pigmented and a bit unnatural, but after a few moments, the color seemed to seep into my skin, blending perfectly under a layer of powdered foundation. I swiped a bit of the tint on my eyes (while not the intended purpose, I've been obsessed with lacquer eye products lately), which gave my look an added pop of color. But, applying the product to my lips was not great. Despite a smooth application, the tint tasted extremely gross and tingled my lips in a not-so-great way. - Marilyn La Jeunesse, Newsletter Editor, wearing “Flare”

I typically like Milk products (I looove the kush eyebrow gel), and this one is no different. The glow oil is really creamy and light, and I especially love the color as a blush (this color is a bit too shiny and pink-undertoned for my day-to-day lip preferences). - Claire Dodson, Entertainment News Editor, wearing “Halo"

It is easy to use on-the-go, and is a blush and highlighter in one. It has a nice, creamy texture, but it's not too thick. It does fade quickly, so might not be great for those hot summer nights! - Samhita Mukhopadhyay, Executive Director, wearing “Solar”

I’m not a huge blush girl because I always feel like I apply too much, but this is the perfect product for someone like me because it isn’t overpowering. I found it easier to apply with my fingers than swiping the stick onto my skin. The “Glimmer” shade matched my skin perfectly and the shine blended well with my highlighter.” - Asia Milia Ware, Editorial Assistant, wearing “Glimmer"
