Look up southwest reservation without confirmation number

Hi

All you need to do is call Southwest customer service 1-800-435-9792.  1-800 -I-FLY-SWA

Hi @dungpham307,

Even if you didn't log into your Rapid Rewards Account, you still should have received a confirmation email. Our Customer Support  and Services Representatives (1-800-I-FLY-SWA) can help you find your confirmation number with some quick research. When you talk to them, have them verify the email address that you entered so we can make sure it's correct.

Thanks so much 🙂

I called Customer Services and I felt so happy. Although I spoke English not good, The staff's still very nice. I received confirm number but I haven't seen email receipt from Southwest.

I have one more question: how can I book group at Southwest app? I have one group about 11-15 people so I can book faster.  SW have discount for booking group? Thanks!

Hi @dungpham307,

I'm glad you had a good Customer Service experience when you spoke with one of our Representatives!

Group Travel can only be booked by phone. Here is a link to all the information you need to get started with your reservation.

Well, I did not have a very pleasant experience with your help desk. Benjamin, your representative was rude and incompetent. I hope you will select your employees better. so much for quality service !

I've been on hold for 1 hour and 6 minutes. Can't find my confirmation #, but my credit card was charged. Maybe I entered my email incorrectly? Is this a normal wait time when calling Southwest for help?

Well its almost 9pm and im still waiting. Phone says I've been waiting for 1 hour 30 minutes. Has something happened at Southwest? I thought this would be a less busy time to call. Is this really how little SWA cares about their customers?

Unfortunately, very long hold times are the norm these days. 😞

Hi @A4mosa,

You can also reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter (@Southwestair) to reach a Representative quicker. Response time is usually under 15 minutes.

As suggested, check your RR account (if you have one, and if your access to the website isn't blocked as it is for many outside the US). I'd also recommend searching your emails -- including your trash folder -- for the confirmation message.

Your credit card statement may include the ticket number, especially if it's a Southwest Rapid Rewards card, or it may not (many don't).

Unfortunately, Southwest can no longer look up your confirmation number using a credit card. But they can help if you have the ticket number or (at a minimum) the flight information:

Applying Travel Funds: In the event your travel plans change and you need to apply travel funds to future trips, please make note of your confirmation number. Customers calling Southwest to request a refund or to research travel funds for a specific ticket must provide their confirmation number, ticket number or flight information (date, origin and destination).

Since you're outside the US, your best bet for a quick reply would be to reach out to Customer Relations via Twitter direct message. Good luck!

Hi

You need your conformation number to check in.  Do you belong to rapid rewards?  If you do you  can log into your account and see your conformation number or you can call customer service at Southwest Airlines and they will look up your conformation number for you.  Another thing you can try, if you purchased you ticket with the Chase Southwest credit card look at your statement online and look at the "Southwest payment" for your ticket and you should see the conformation number.

Good luck!

Southwest Airlines provides travel itineraries with confirmation numbers to all travelers who purchase airfare with Southwest. Once you book your travel, you will receive an email from Southwest confirming your travel itinerary. Before your flight, you will need to access your travel itinerary for check-in purposes or to make changes to your reservation. For this you will need your confirmation number. If you do not have your confirmation number, look it up with the help of Southwest’s website.

Visit the Southwest Airlines website to retrieve your travel itinerary (southwest.com). On the homepage of Southwest’s website, click on the link to manage travel, check in online or change your reservations.

Click on the link to “Look Up Confirmation Number.”

Select “Credit Card Number” to look up your reservation using the credit card number you used to purchase your Southwest airfare. Enter your first and last name, departure city, departure date and your credit card number. Click “Continue”.

View your reservation and your confirmation number on the results page. Keep a copy of the confirmation number for your records.
