I think Samsung uses the same technology as Chromecast does. One way to check would be to take a computer you already have -> open Chrome -> open the menu in the top right -> select "cast" -> and see if you can connect to your TV. If it does then you are good to get a Chromebook. Now, if Samsung uses direct wifi like miricast (or god forbid some proprietary setup) then it might not work. There may be extensions that make it work or some janky MacGuivering but native support would be unlikely. EDIT: Oh the device you test with will need to have wifi. I probably should have specified that. Also you could probably test it with your phone but I don't know if Samsung phones have some special API that lets them do that so it might give a false positive.
