You can choose to sync your Mac and your device automatically whenever you connect them. See Turn automatic syncing on or off on Mac. Before disconnecting your device from your Mac, click the Eject button in the Finder sidebar. Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new
question. Question: I frequently need to add a single song or new playlist to my phone, and it takes ages even to transfer one song because the process is defaulted to syncing the whole caboodle .. I can't see how to turn off the default 'sync everything' and just sync what I need. Can anyone help me? :) iPhone 4s, iOS 9 Posted on Sep 17, 2020 10:09 AM User profile for user: alex hall Question: How to transfer playlists without syncing Do any of the following:
To delete music from the library, touch and hold the song, album, playlist, or music video, then tap Delete from Library. Music you add to iPhone is also added to other devices if you’re signed in to the iTunes Store and App Store using the same Apple ID and have Sync Library turned on (go to Settings > Music, then turn on Sync Library). How do I manually add songs to my iPhone?Open the Music app and navigate to the media you would like to add to your iPhone. Click and drag any song, album, or artist to the iPhone button under Devices in the left menu bar. Repeat for all other music or media you'd like to add to your iPhone.
Can I use Apple Music without syncing my Library?Your Apple Music activities also won't have any effect on the devices that don't have iCloud Music Library enabled. Any songs, albums, or playlists you have saved from Apple Music won't be synced with devices without iCloud Music Library turned on, even if you've downloaded them onto your Mac.
Is there another way to add music to iPhone?CopyTrans Manager is a lightweight iTunes alternative that helps you add music to your iPhone by simply transferring tracks from computer to device. There's no need for an iTunes sync with already-existing iPhone tracks remaining untouched on your device.
Why can't I add my own music to my iPhone?Check your settings and network connection on all of your devices: Make sure that your devices have the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, or iTunes for Windows. Make sure that Sync Library is turned on for all of your devices. Connect all of your devices to the Internet.
