Viewing Your Transactions

Amazon Pay provides a single view of your transactions. You can view all transactions or filter them by activity type (means of payment), by sent or received date or by credit and debit events.

Viewing your orders made with Amazon Pay

To view yours orders made with Amazon Pay, do the following:

Go to the Amazon Pay website and log on to your Amazon Pay account as a customer.
Your Account page appears, displaying your Account Activity, showing the most recent transaction at the top with Transaction Date, Merchant, Status and Amount.
To view (filter by) specific transaction types, click on successful/declined/refunded links mentioned on the page.
You can view a specific transaction by setting the appropriate date range, and then clicking Go.
To see details such as transaction ID and payment method used for the transaction, click Details.

To contact the merchant you can either go to merchant’s website/app and get contact details or do the following:

Go to the Amazon Pay website.
Click the 'My Account' link at the top of the website, and sign in when prompted.
In the Overview page, click on the details link of a transaction for which you wish to contact the merchant.
On the transaction detail page, click Contact Merchant.

After a payment has been initiated, it cannot be cancelled, but if you wish to ask for a refund (that is, if you don’t receive an item, or an item materially differs from its description), you can contact the merchant to resolve the issue. Merchants can issue refunds via Amazon Pay as needed. If you used a bank account to submit your payment, you must wait 2 to 5 business days (not including weekends or holidays) for the payment to be completed before the merchant can initiate a refund.

These steps are identical whether you are using the Android or iPhone app.

Open the Amazon Shopping app.
Tap the Profile button at the bottom of your screen.
Scroll down; your balance is displayed in the Gift Card Balance heading.
Tap Manage gift card balance to see a detailed breakdown of your balance activity, including your auto-reload setting.

How to reload your Amazon gift card balance

Amazon offers two ways to reload your account's gift card balance. You can either manually add funds or set an automatic reload threshold. While manual reloads help you keep track of exactly how much money is in your gift balance, automatic reload thresholds can be customized to suit your level of spending.

Go to the Amazon homepage.
Hold your mouse over Accounts & Lists and select Gift cards.
Click Reload your balance in the menu bar.

How to automatically reload your balance

If you don't want the hassle of uploading your balance manually, set your card to reload automatically.

On the Profile tab, scroll down and tap Reload Balance underneath the Gift Card Balance heading.
Scroll down and tap Set up Auto-Reload.
There are two ways to auto-reload your balance. Select Auto-Reload on a schedule to add a preset amount repeatedly. Or, select Auto-Reload when your balance gets low to ensure your gift card balance never drops below a threshold.
Scroll down and tap Save Your Auto-Reload Setting to complete the setup.

How to check a physical gift card's balance without redeeming

If you are unsure about the amount on a physical gift card, you can check the gift card balance without redeeming it. However, you'll need to contact Amazon customer support to do so.

Head to Amazon's support page.
Click I need more help to initiate.
Request to speak with a customer representative.
Inform the customer representative that you wish you check the balance on a gift card.
Provide them with the code on the backof your gift card.
