  • Large spiders try to attack two boys. Some of the spiders get run over by a car or killed by spells. One tries to bite one of the boys in a 'jump' scene, but gets repelled before it can wound him. That boy is shown to have arachnophobia, so he seems uneasy and anxious throughout the scene.

REVIEW: 'HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS' While it is scarier than the first movie, there are plenty of lighter moments, including the flying car and one of Ron's spells spectacularly backfiring so it is still perfect for kids, especially those who are familiar with the books.
