I finished my period (which is what I thought it was) two days ago. Today I got random spotting which isn't normal for me and I had been feeling very very fatigued but thought it was down to my period.
I just randomly did a pregnancy test just now on a held bladder of an hour and I've got a positive pregnancy test????!!!!
Can anyone help me figure this out. How??
Will attach photo.
Has anyone else experienced this before? The second line showed up before 5 minutes

Hey

Looking for some reassurance. I had both and MC and a CP last year. Found out I am pregnant today, but no symptoms other than being very tired. I only tested because my temperature hadn’t dropped.

I’m confused and feeling a bit scared/vulnerable because I did actually have a small period. It was very light, and but I had red blood (and brown) and it lasted 3 days.

Looking for some reassurance that it doesn’t mean that everything’s going to go wrong… when I had my MC I had such strong symptoms by this point (5w4d) but all I have is acid reflux and tiredness, with a few boob twinges here and there.

So, I had my period, bang on time so I hadn't tested, the period seemed to last a bit longer than usual but the last couple of days was just light pinkish discharge, and I had none of my usual AF symptoms but hadn't thought much of it. I then assumed I was on CD10 of my next cycle but started with tummy aches and lower back pain, just felt a bit odd so randomly took a test which was positive. I'm having ever so slight pink spotting now. I know all of this can be normal but I didn't have any of it with my first and I had a chemical last year so a bit worried.
Can anyone offer any personal experiences where this happened and still went on to have a healthy pregnancy?
I did a FR this afternoon, the line showed up pretty much instantly but wasn't quite as strong as the control line, then later did a clear blue digital which said 1-2 weeks, but at this point it should be 3+ so just hoping it was too diluted to show up?

Can you bleed very heavily and still be pregnant?

It can happen in the first 20 weeks for different reasons. It can be the result of something serious or non-serious. Continued bleeding throughout the pregnancy is not common. Call your doctor immediately if you are bleeding heavily.

Why did I have a full period and be pregnant?

After a girl is pregnant, she no longer gets her period. But girls who are pregnant can have other bleeding that might look like a period. For example, there can be a small amount of bleeding when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus. Doctors call this implantation bleeding.

Can I be pregnant and still have a heavy period with clots?

Bleeding in pregnancy may be light or heavy, dark or bright red. You may pass clots or “stringy bits”.

Can you bleed like a period in early pregnancy?

Spotting or bleeding may occur shortly after conception, this is known as an implantation bleed. It is caused by the fertilised egg embedding itself in the lining of the womb. This bleeding is often mistaken for a period, and it may occur around the time your period is due.
