Fathers day car show fond du lac 2023

FOND DU LAC - The Fond du Lac Evening Optimists are hosting their 41th Annual Father’s Day Antique Car, Truck and Motorcycle show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Lakeside Park. This is a free event.  

The car show will feature hundreds of cars, trucks and motorcycles from all over Wisconsin. Throughout the day, there will be '50s and '60s music provided by Record Entertainment, and food and beverages. 

Cost charged for car registration. Participants can register from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The car show is a major fundraiser for the Optimist Club and the proceeds support the Dictionary Program, in which each third-grade student in Fond du Lac receives their own dictionary.

Fond du Lac Evening Optimists also support a scholarship program for Fond du Lac high school seniors, the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Youth Baseball, Fond du Lac Junior football League, Miss Fond du Lac Scholarship Program, Shop with a Cop program, the Fond du Lac Public Library's free holiday book program, and more.  

The members of the Fond du Lac Evening Optimist Club have been serving the Fond du Lac community for over 50 years.

Club meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 625 Rolling Meadows Drive. Meetings are open to area residents who are looking to join a service club or helping the community.
