I can hear the song playing somewhere in Makan Sutra as me and my family was chilling at the Starbucks near the Merlion on the night of the 24th…coincidentally one of my favorite songs.

Such a simple, beautiful song with a deep meaning. I want this played on my funeral hehe..

I first heard this song following the death of my husband in 1993. It sounded as if it were written for him and comforted me during that first difficult year and since. He was an Army helicopter pilot whose aircraft was brought down in Somalia....'over mountains, over trees, over oceans, over seas, across the desert'....'I'll be watching you from above...' I recognize this song was outside The Escape Club's normal music but so glad it was written and performed.

This song came out and was popular not long after my dad died and it reminded me of him. Everytime I heard it on the radio I thought of him. I never hear it much anymore so I bought it from Amazon so I could play that reminder anytime I want. Music has a way of evoking memories.

I remembered this song from when I was a kid.....now as an adult I understand the full meaning behind the lyrics....every time I hear it I tear up......the words are sooooooooooooo true because when you lose someone you love they are still with you no matter what...this should have been on the Titanic Soundtrack!!!!
