The 24th Annual Duel in the Desert from The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will see a significant growth spurt in its second year managed by Minnesota-based X.CELERATED.

Super Late Models will join the roster of classes and be featured on Saturday, Nov. 13 with a $50,000-to-win grand finale with the possibility of doubling their prizes all throughout the field.

The Double Down Triple Crown presented by RACEXR.COM will reward Super Late Model racers who attend and compete at previous events promoted by X.CELERATED including the Bristol Dirt Nationals from Bristol Motor Speedway March 19-20 and the Texas Dirt Nationals from Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on September 17-18.

Drivers simply need to compete in each scheduled race night and they are eligible to race for DOUBLE the posted winnings in the finale of The Duel in the Desert at LVMS. For example, if a racer wins that has perfect attendance, instead of $50,000, they will take home $100,000! Every finishing spot will be eligible for the bonus with no cap. If 24 perfect attendance racers make the finale – all would race for double the posted purse.

Complete details of the Double Down Triple Crown presented by RACEXR.COM will be posted in the coming weeks.

Like the 23 previous editions, the Duel in the Desert will continue to feature the IMCA Modifieds, Northern Sportmods, and Stock Cars. The format will be adjusted to closely mimic that used at the Bristol Dirt Nationals. More information will be updated at www.duelinthedesert.com and Duel in the Desert social media.

The Duel in the Desert will be streamed on raceXR.com and the raceXR Apps and available on a number of devices under the Monthly+ Subscription.
