The furniture was old and peeling. Room was not clean and smelly. The place needs an upgrade. Pros:The staff was excellent. Our room was upgraded and a crib was available. The shuttle to and from the airport was awesome. Cons:The hotel is right on the highway and our “upgrade” literally dangled over it. The traffic noises in the early morning hours were so loud I couldn’t sleep even though I was wearing ear plugs. We thought there was free breakfast- there isn’t. The google image of a giant glass entry is inaccurate. Pros:Staff was friendly and helpful, great place to stay, price was great, location waa great, beds were wonderful Pros:Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Cons:One night the room next to us was playing loud music into the early morning hours. It took a while for the staff to resolve the issue. However, we were not charged for that night's stay. Pros:There was a shuttle to City Place and to PBI. Cons:Faint smell of cigarette smoke and some road noise. Pros:The staff was overall very nice. Cons:Air conditioner as noisy. Pros:The hotel was easy to get to, had great shuttle service, but to pricey. I was expecting more for the price I paid. Pros:Front desk was friendly. Cons:3 different types of mold/mildew in the bathroom. Mismatched granite. Toothpaste splashes on wall. Poor condition overall. Pros:Nice decor with upscale lobby. Easy parking Cons:Breakfast was not included so we were a bit surprised when after breakfast lady asked us to pay $40 if I new this earlier I would pick a hotel that had breakfast included in the price. Pros:Great place to stay. We stayed for 8 days my 10 year old son loves everything about it. The pool was perfect and always clean. We LOVED the cookies... We will be staying here in the future. Cons:No free breakfast!!! I have stay at other places and they had at least bagels, coffee, cereal, the basics. Like I said I was there for 8days and wasn't expecting on buying breakfast for week. But this isn't a deal breaker just keep it in mind and plan for it.. 1808 South Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33409

What is DoubleTree famous for?The DoubleTree hotel chain is known for greeting their guests with the most amazing chocolate chip cookies. In fact, they bake over 30 million of these cookies every single year! But since their introduction in 1986, Hilton has kept the signature recipe secret.
Are Hilton and DoubleTree the same?DoubleTree by Hilton is an American hotel chain managed by Hilton Worldwide. DoubleTree has been the fastest growing Hilton brand by number of properties since 2007, and by number of rooms from 2007 to 2015.
What was the DoubleTree called before? It was previously called Lilleybrook. It stands on the site of an ancient manor which was rebuilt and/or improved in about 1700 and again in 1816. In 1831 it was badly damaged by fire and in 1833 it was again rebuilt.
Do all double trees give cookies?Packed full of gooey chocolate chips and crunchy walnuts, these decadent treats are given to all DoubleTree guests upon checking in. After a long day of travel, these cookies are a warm welcome that has, over time, become one of the chain's most defining characteristics.
