16oz canned 6-8-21, opened 9-11-21.
3 finger off-white head with outstanding retention.
Glowing golden-copper body with a slight haze. Thick, sticky, full and fresh lacing.
Doughy malt with a little toast, honey, and a sweet hay-like grassy hop aroma.
Hops dominate the flavor with a spicy and grassy, slightly herbal lean.
Not out of balance by any means, just
noticeable spicy hops. Tasty brew.
Light + body with medium carbonation, close to a crisp mouthfeel. Moderate and persistent bitterness in the dry finish.

Inspirations for our beers come from everywhere. Sometimes it’s like the universe is telling us there needs to be a beer. It sounds pretentious and, in a way, it is… But with the release of this Omnipollo® German style pilsner we are in the center of a vortex of incidences telling us that all we want to drink is a truly well-crafted pilsner.
My own pilsner journey started long ago, and pilsner is still my favorite style of beer, but it totally seems like the right time to celebrate this style. The signs are there. Like when your favorite rapper doesn’t enjoy the IPA you had planned to brew in his honor, saying “none of that fruity stuff”. Or the fact that for the last couple of years, all brewers at festivals will not be found drinking the latest hype brew, but instead gathering at the tap of whoever brought a classic pilsner.
A pils is sort of like your favorite t-shirt, you wear it often, but it is never a loud statement. So we raise our (pilsner) glass to you, and hope you will enjoy Devins German style pilsner and the rest of our pilsner journey. Be curious, be classic.

Devin the Dude's Brew was brewed with 100% Pilsner malt, Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, and was lagered eight weeks. It's clean, crisp, hoppy, and delicious. 4.8% abv. Special thanks to our friends at Omnipollo and Devin the Dude for collaborating with us.
