Hi, I have an older but pristine Charter Arms Police Bulldog, Model # 388885. The gun was stored and unfired for over 30 years. I recently put 30 rounds through her without a problem. I'd like some idea of the current value.

Retail value for a gun in good or better condition would range from $175 to $300 depending on mechanical and bore condition and remaining original metal finish.

In my amateur opinion this gun is perfect. See pics below. $300 is the top value? I was led to believe it was worth more.

No. The Charter Arms revolvers don't get much respect in the used market. They were fairly inexpensive guns to begin with and the market for used copies isn't very good, even for those examples in top condition (as yours seems to be).
That doesn't mean they are not fully functional and safe to use. They just are not expensive or valuable.
$300 is about the best you will do if you try to sell this, and that would be in a private sale. You'd be lucky to get $200 at a gun shop or pawn shop.
