I am rating it on the original which was made with better materials, and robust but no heavier. It was also less bulky but same size face. It has at least kept the handy snooze button, on and off buttons on top. I like the lock facility. The remote sensor for snooze is pretty useless. It is still better than another I bought when my wonderful first clock died.

I love the design and ease of use of this clock. I had the same clock before( I still have it) but it eventually failed to keep good time. I'm so glad to have found its replacement and hope this one will last me a long time!

This is the second Braun alarm clock which I have had. It is extremely well made, practically inaudible and with some interesting features. Hand movement across the clock face to silence the alarm can be somewhat 'hit and miss', especially in the early hours and in a darkened room.

An excellent little clock though I didnt realise it was a travel one. this makes no difference as it can sit quite easily beside the bed. When it goes off yo can operate the snooze by waving your hand in front of it so you dont have to wake up properly to fumble for buttons and things. I had one of these many years ago and it lasted for years - but when it died I found it impossible to find a similar one until I found this one at Watchshop. People I spoke to in shops looked at me as if I was daft when I said I wanted a clock that would go off when I waved mu hand I front of it. It is clear to read and the alarm isnt at all harsh and has a crescendo effect so quite a gentle way to wake up. Very good value for money and well recommended.
