Denver – Flying High!

C2C Border Collies was created out of our love of the magnificent and amazing Border Collie breed. We welcome you to visit our site and our Facebook Fan Page often for lots of information, fun pictures and educational facts about our “C2C fur family”. For those who have Border Collies or are interested in adding these amazing dogs to their family, our site will keep you up to date on any current or future litters we may have in the works.

Our experience with this breed goes back over 20 years and now includes some wonderful dogs we choose to occasionally breed in order to produce beautiful, smart, healthy, and socially well-adjusted puppies. Many of those past puppies have gone on to be trained in Search and Rescue and Service/Therapy work. Those of us who have experienced owning a Border Collie find them worthy companions, as well.

As a breeder, we are dedicated to genetic health and socialization, encouraging our puppies to be confident, “enrichment seekers”.  Keeping our C2C Border Collie puppies  healthy and happy is always our focus.

Using our own Building Blocks Puppy Program, our focus is on creating a solid foundation using personalized, developmental marker-based protocol that we’ve implemented specifically for our athletic, enrichment seeking Border Collie puppies. From birth to 8 weeks old, we focus on creating confident puppies that are set up for success, making the transition into the world an easy one.

We do genetic testing on all of our breeding pairs so their puppies will never acquire any of the DNA tested genetic diseases of the Border Collie. We do occasional  DNA color genetic testing as well. Your C2C puppy always comes with a Health Guarantee!

Our dogs come from impressive Border Collie championship lineage and carry on those genetic factors to their offspring, yet have an “off” switch, making them wonderful family companions.  Our dogs do not live in kennels, and never will. They are an important part of our family. We raise our puppies in our home as part of the daily routines to give them a good head start for joining their new families. They are almost completely housebroken by the time they go to their new “forever homes” (and experts on the “doggie door”!). Our puppies are started on crate training, “clicker” training and “recall”,  always taught with Positive Reinforcement techniques. Most importantly, our puppies are allowed to be puppies, exposed to only positive, fun and enriching experiences.

These dogs will work hard and play even harder. They are intelligent, lovable, attentive, loyal and easily trained. They can also be high drive and intense…not necessarily a dog breed for everyone.  If you have never owned a Border Collie, we recommend you research the aspects of the breed before acquiring one. If you have ever owned a Border Collie before, you will certainly understand what we mean when we say,

…“with Border Collies, it’s not just black and white!”

Thank you and enjoy!
