24/7 Nurse Line

When you’re seeking general health advice or where to go for care, you can call a registered nurse day or night. You can also chat with a nurse or send a secure message through MyBlue.

Telehealth Services

When you want treatment quickly for minor illnesses and injuries, you can connect with a board-certified doctor 24/7 via phone, video or the Teladoc® app. All members get their first two Teladoc visits for free.

Primary Care Doctor

A routine annual physical is an essential part of preventive care. During this visit, the doctor can get to know your medical history and diagnose and treat illnesses. Use our nationwide directory to find one near you.

Certain medical services and treatments need approval before you receive care

Depending on the type of care you require, you may need prior approval, precertification, or both. We review the service or treatment to ensure it is medically necessary. If you do not get pre-approval, we may reduce or deny your benefit.

In most cases, your doctor or facility will submit your approval requests. However, you should always ask your provider if they have contacted us and provided the information we need—you are responsible for ensuring that your care is approved. You can call the number on the back of your member ID card to see if we have received the request.
