And still listen to it today. It's just as good then as it is now and hasn't diminished a bit.

George Michael has remade some Stevie before, on albums and sometimes as b-sides. His voice is amazing and many times his personal troubles overshadows his artistic triumphs. Much as it is with Boy George (Must be a George thing) Both have great soulful voices yet both seem rather underrated. But as George Michael once said "when you shake your ass they notice fast/some mistakes were meant to last". If you get past his "sexy" image of the late eighties/early nineties and just listen to his music you will be blown away. Too bad Faith and Listen without Prejudice haven't been remastered(with bonus tracks etc) Listen without Prejudice is a great listen also, and just needs to be remastered to hear it in full effect. Back to this song "as" i had bought both the twentyfive deluxe set and the dvd set. So that was my first tiem seeing/hearing this song. All I could say afterwards was why do the stupid record companies do this to us? why do they release songs only in some areas? This would have been great on Ladies and Gentleman. Oh Well twentyfive is a great collection both as a cd and dvd set. If I were you that's how I would buy this song. The three disc set of twentyfive has some songs unavailable elsewhere even on the old greatest hits etc. I'd highly reccomend this song though. It is great. A True r&b masterpiece. Stevie is probably very happy with the results. I know i'd be had I wrote this song. I am not a big mary j. blige song, and like one reviewer, I never would have thought this was a good pairing. I would have been dead wrong. Great Song. I'd reccomend it. And anyone who is a real GM fan I'd also reccomend the three dist twentyfive greatest hits package. That one covers all of his albums up to patience.

BEFORE I HEARD THIS SINGLE, IF ANYONE HAD ASKED ME I WOULD HAVE NEVER NEVER PUT GEORGE MICHAEL AND MARY J. BLIGE TOGETHER. I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD NOT BE A GREAT MIXTURE. BOY WAS I WRONG! I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING AS MOVING AS THIS DUO IN A LONG TIME. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY COULD GET TOGETHER AGAIN. THE GROUP JODECI REMADE STEVIE WONDER'S LATELY AND IS WAS THE PITS, THE GROUP INTRO REMADE A RIBBON IN THE SKY AND IT WAS THE BEST EVER. NOW WITH MARY AND GEORGE IT'S A TIE WITH INTRO, BUT I MUST SAY THIS WINS HANDS DOWN. I FELT EVERY WORD THEY SANG. IT WAS GREAT, IT'S A MUST HAVE FOR A FAN/COLLECTOR OF STEVIE WONDER, GEORGE MICHAEL, AND MS.MARY J. BLIGE.

I was in Europe last winter and I was blown away by this video I kept seeing. It was for the song "As". I was disappointed when I returned to America only to find the song not being played at all. My prayers have been answered and it has now been released as a cd-single import. Run, I REPEAT, run out and get this puppy. The song rocks and there are two other versions included as well. Plus the cd contains three full-length videos (and of course "As" is the first one). You will not be diappointed...

Whew! Mary and George sang that song! I really love Stevie Wonder's version! I found myself searching for the title and song after hearing it again during "The Best Man" movie. Then while searching on the net, I saw that MJB and George Michael actually did a re-make! Couldn't believe it! Then I found out I couldn't get it any stores that I knew of. THEN, I won a gift certificate for Amazon! I love Mary J. Blige and this collaboration was wonderful! I just wish it got some airplay on US radio!

Whoever came up with the idea for George Michael and Mary J Blige, two of the most talented artists, to come to sing together was pure genius. These two have voices that carry well together. But the idea to cover the classic Stevie Wonder song? Usually I am critical of cover songs, but they do such a good job on this song. The singing is so soulful and refreshing, it gives the song a whole other feel. Stevie Wonder must be proud. I highly reccomend this cd.

This piece was the bomb from jump street. I'm quite sure that Stevie Wonder smiles when he hears how much smoother it can be as a duet. Mary was, is, and will always be a Steam Roller! George Michael just adds what this song needed-A RAY OF SUNSHINE!

I love this song! It truly rocks..I never thought those two voices would blend together, but it works wonderfully!
