Now my question is, I searched and couldn't find anything about it then I saw that someone said they only came on hxs with cvt trans. Makes sense because when I searched for it on hondapartsunlimited under civic ex nothing came up, but when I switched it to civic hx I found it. Is there a reason why my 01 civic ex has this? Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 7,432 Likes: 0 I want to say "It's supposed to be there." but.. the information for changing the ATF Filter is located in the CVT section of the manual and not in the Automatic Transmission section. In either case, it's all part of the ATF cooler stuff anyway, so..

Everything on the car was original I just pulled the whole motor apart and everything. So you dont know if other exs have this? I take it the hx filter would be the same exact thing if anything.

That or get a reman unit.
