Works really well and packaged good. Put it in a 08 jeep grand Cherokee. They say drop the front driveshaft but found out you can take the left side inner wheel well out and squeeze it through the hole by the manifold

So far so good starter is working fine dB products are the best.

Good quality components and assembly. Works perfect, turns engine over faster than stock one ever did. Fit perfect but access on Jeep Commander with Mercedes 4.7 V8 is tough. Wires through LF wheel well with liner removed. Mounting bolts from below with long extension and knuckle. Solved the intermittent starter engagement problem.

Build quality was good for the price. The new unit was very similar to original equipment from Jeep. Starter worked well upon installation and completely matched the orginal equipment.

THE STARTER WAS INSTALLED LESS THAN 5 MONTHS AGO AND IT HAS BEEN ACTING FUNNY SINCE DAY ONE! SOMETIMES THERE IS A DEALA IN THE THE START AND NOW IT COMPLETE STRANDED ME AND MY SICK WIFE WHO IS NOT IN THE BEST OF HEALTH IN THE PARKING LOT 25 KLMS AWAY FROM OUR HOME! MIDDLE OF WINTER HERE A tow$$$and no car ! 5 months old starter!!
