There’s been a lot of talk lately about putting beer in corner stores. That could put jobs at risk and increase beer prices.
Americans are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, but do they need to purchase their alcohol for celebrating ahead of time?
Grocery stores are normally open at some point during the holiday, but whether you can buy liquor and wine there depends on the state.
Alcohol availability varies from store to store and state to state. It may be easier to purchase liquor at a liquor store if your local supermarket has rules on what they’re allowed to carry by law.

States that can allow for the purchase of liquor inside of a liquor store on Thanksgiving day include Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and New York.
Whether the store is open depends on the county and store owner.
Vermont and Pennsylvania will have limited availability during the holiday.
Liquor stores are also facing shortages due to the pandemic. For this reason Pennsylvania has created a two bottle limit on brands like Hennessy and Don Julio.

Buca di Beppo, Del Frisco’s Grille, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Tony Roma’s may be selling liquor the day of as well.
