We have another popular television series conclusion coming, and we hate that it has to be The Walking Dead. The post-apocalyptic horror show is coming to an end, with its final season airing on AMC starting Aug. 22, 2021.
This leads us to wonder when The Walking Dead season 11 will come to Netflix.
The Walking Dead has had a great run, and fans will forever cherish this TV show in their hearts. I mean, the zombie show came at a time when supernatural fantasy shows and movies were arguably at their peak.
Fortunately, The Walking Dead didn’t get shelved like some other shows in its genre. I guess we can say the astonishingly gifted cast played a major part in the show’s success. The cast has changed and expanded over the seasons, but certain characters have stuck out, and we’ll forever remember the actors that portrayed them.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, The Walking Dead season 11 will consist of 24 episodes, and filming will continue into 2022. Season 11 will be broken up into three bunches, with each part consisting of eight episodes.
Since the horror series will continue filming into 2022, will The Walking Dead season 11 be released on Netflix in 2022?
Will The Walking Dead season 11 be on Netflix in 2021?
No. If filming for season 11 runs into 2022, that means that season 11 won’t be complete in 2021. So we shouldn’t be expecting a 2021 release date for The Walking Dead season 11 on Netflix. However, you can watch season 11 as it airs on AMC starting Aug. 22, 2021.
Another option is to check out a similar show on Netflix until TWD season 11 is released on the streamer. Netflix’s original series Black Summer is a good zombie show to hold you over until the final season of TWD drops. There are currently two seasons of Black Summer that you can binge-watch now on Netflix.
Will The Walking Dead season 11 be on Netflix in 2022?
It’s still too early to tell if The Walking Dead season 11 will be released on Netflix in 2022. However, if filming goes smoothly and there aren’t any more production shutdowns, Netflix is most likely to confirm a season 11 release date for late summer or early fall 2022.
According to What’s on Netflix, we should be expecting season 11 to arrive on the streaming service sometime between August and September 2022.

AMC’s long-running horror series The Walking Dead is coming to an end when the third part of its eleventh and final season starts airing this fall.
Of course, there are plenty of spin-off projects in the works, so it’s not really goodbye, but it will be the end of the flagship show. But many fans are eager to find out when The Walking Dead season 11 is coming to Netflix to see how it all ends.
Netflix has been adding seasons of the show since the early days and that’s how many people discovered the post-apocalyptic horror show to begin with before later watching it live on AMC.

When will The Walking Dead season 11 be on Netflix?
Considering The Walking Dead season 11 is not finished airing, you should not expect to see it on the streaming service for awhile. The eleventh and final season of the zombie apocalypse series was split into parts with the final batch of episodes set to premiere in October and wrap on November 20, 2022.
In previous years, new seasons would come out before the next season started, but since season 11 is the last season, we probably won’t get to see it on Netflix until summer 2023.
Are The Walking Dead spin-offs on Netflix?
No, you won’t be able to watch the show’s many spin-offs on Netflix, at least not the ones out right now. We don’t know the status of future spin-offs and where they will stream just yet.
