What year, make and model. I have that info but need the info to do the lookup and don't want to give inaccurate information. Btw-Don't know of any info source that gives the cooler and line capacity, probably 1-3 qts more or less.

Here is the info I have....... Allow an extra 1-3 qts for the cooler and lines. From prior experience, about 15 qts should be enough BUT depending on who is doing the work (pro or amateur), it could be less and it could be more. Flushing the trans is not a precise operation, spillage can and often does occur so be prepared with enough fluid. Good

well..i bought 3 gallons when i installed mine..have a small amount left from the 3rd gallon so approx. 11 quarts:imo

The 4L60E Transmission is a series of automatic transmission from General Motors. Previously named the THM700, and later renamed to 4L60 to fit into GM's new naming convention. The "E" stands for the electronically shift controlled version of the 4L60 automatic transmission.
