This F-body oil pan is exactly what you need to get your motor sitting low in an offroad chassis.  The sump sits down nearly even with the transmission pan and allows the drivetrain to sit a few inches lower than stock getting your center of gravity low.  This kit has a high rise in the front of the pan to allow more space for exhaust, cross bracing, and accessories.

The F-Body oil pan is the pan of choice for most engine swaps as it provides the most steering rack clearance of any GM pan as well as generous ground clearance. Using a factory GM pan allows you to retain the structural rigidity of a cast aluminum pan.

GM's 4th generation f-body oil pan has become a very popular choice for retrofit vehicles. The pan was originally designed for the 1998-02 LS1 Camaro and Firebird/Trans Am, but the hot rodding aftermarket has carried it over to the retrofit market for LS engine swaps!
