I've been using castor oil on my eyebrows for a couple months now and I swear I see a marginal difference... Put it on my lashes and it gives me an allergic reaction tho
level 1
Had cancer in the beginning of the year and used castor oil to help my lashes grow back after treatment. Definitely worked for my lashes, brows, and hair.
level 2
Hope you’re doing better now 💛
level 1
It works in way of creating a moisture barrier which could make them feel fuller and less likely to break off which is why people feel it working on their lashes :-) hope that helps!
level 2
Yes, I love my castor oil on lashes/brows, the hairs feel so much more supple and moisturized.
level 2
do you have a scientific source for that?
level 1
It gave me blurry vision as it would get in my eyes.
level 2
I cleaned an old mascara brush and dipped it in, that helped keep it just on my lashes
level 1
i did it for 4 months on eyelashes and eyebrows and did not find it worth continuing personally. pretty sure it just made my lashes oily.
level 2
Same. Did it religiously for about 4-5 months along with Vit E oil. I looked for even the tiniest inkling that it was working... it did not.
level 1
I use a little bit of Vaseline. I “feel” like it works but tbh I think just having a routine and making sure I really take off any leftover residue/mascara is the most important part. I look forward to it every night!
level 1
It’s working on my eyebrows.
level 1
Everyone is saying no but I feel like it made a slight difference…. i completely shaved off the tails of my eyebrows and they weren’t growing for months but as soon as I began using it they grew incredibly fast!
level 2
I do believe this! My lashes are much thicker, I had short lashes, even with mascara, would look INVSIBLE. But I started realizing my eyelashes started appearing lol
level 1
Try a mix of castor and rosemary oil.
level 1
Yes it makes hair grow faster, i do it myself.
level 1
Used it for 2 years and it did nothing.
level 1
Not really. Unless the goal is blurry eyes. Then it works fantastically.
I’ve noticed recently that my eyelashes are getting more sparse. I’ve read online that castor oil can be a more natural route to grow them back.
Has anyone tried this and seen actual results? About how long did it take to notice a change? Do you have a favored brand of castor oil?
**edited for grammar
** edit 2 - Thank you all so much for the responses. I’ll be looking into some of the lash serums mentioned and hopefully will have luck that way. It seems like the castor might just be a nice conditioning thing to do once in a while

Im confused did you use it for ur eyelashes or under the eyes?
level 1
The eyelashes look fuller to me in the before photo….
level 2
she used it on her undereyes, not lashes. the undereyes have improved significantly.
level 1
sorry definitely should’ve explained i was using it for the darkness under my eyes, NOT my eye lashes! i haven’t put it on my lashes at all
level 2
I noticed, just because I knew what caster oil does. Post again in 4 -5 weeks please. I’m 41, so after being a “product whore”, with bad genes I’m giving up. I’m trying fillers. 😁
Your beautiful young face doesn’t need that.
level 2
What did you do? Just dab a lil under there after skin care before bed?
level 2
Thank you for explanation, I thought it was to make hair thicker not for skin. Eye bags mean drink more water and sleep more in my world 😂
level 1
Wow your under eye area looks much smoother, less red and less dark circles. I didn’t know castor oil could do this?
level 2
thank you, that was my goal! i saw a girl on tiktok say she had been using it for under eyes, so i decided to give it a try. going to keep using it & keep posting updates!
level 1
I see the biggest difference under your eyes and with redness. That's awesome.
level 1
Not gonna lie it looks the same to me…
level 2
Was coming to ask what is supposed to be. It's for the lashes, I guess? No difference, really. But also I think 1 week is very little time
level 2
i thought that too. i use the ordinary lash and brow serum it works.
level 1
I’ve been using castor oil regularly on my lashes and brows for well over a month, maybe two months now.
I don’t think it does anything for accelerating growth, but what does grow is very conditioned, shiny, and thick.
level 2
but what does grow is very conditioned, shiny, and thick.
I'm not using castor oil, but another similar product. It's as you say, I can see them stronger and hydrated and stuff like that, but they didn't grow longer lol

it’s only been a week guys. would love to see a 6 week update!
